Foundation Board

Marco Billeter studied law at the University of St. Gallen. After holding various management positions at Novartis AG, he specialized in the restructuring and strategic realignment of medium-sized industrial companies. As an investor and member of boards of directors, he is active across a range of industries, including packaging, building services engineering, metalworking, and vehicle manufacturing.
As a co-founder of EDUCA SWISS, Marco Billeter significantly shaped the foundation for many years as President of the Board of Trustees. In order to meet the foundation’s dynamic growth and the further development of the EDUCA SWISS, DreamTeam, and stipendium.ch programs, he assumed the newly created overarching executive management of the foundation. In doing so, he consistently continues his long-standing commitment to promoting young talent through leadership figures—both in terms of content and entrepreneurial responsibility.

Claude Siegenthaler studied economics at the University of St. Gallen. From 2004 to 2016, he was a professor of sustainability at Hosei University in Tokyo. As a lecturer and coach, he teaches at various universities, including at ETH Zurich University. With his company Authentic Development GmbH, he assists executives and organizations. He is a co-founder of EDUCA SWISS, member of the foundation board, and was managing director from 2016 to 2019.

Georg Hartmann ist Unternehmer und Berater mit umfassender Erfahrung in Unternehmensentwicklung, Strategie, Personalentwicklung, Finanzen und Digitalisierung. Als ehemaliger CEO und heutiger Verwaltungsratspräsident der HRM Systems AG sowie Venture Partner bei Antler bringt er fundierte unternehmerische und strategische Erfahrung mit.

Georg Hartmann engagiert sich seit vielen Jahren für Chancengerechtigkeit und Bildungsförderung. Seit über zwei Jahrzehnten ist er Präsident der Clara Mändle Stiftung und verfügt damit über langjährige Erfahrung im Schweizer Stiftungswesen. Durch die langjährige Partnerschaft der Clara Mändle Stiftung mit EDUCA SWISS ist er mit der Stiftung und ihrer Arbeit bereits bestens vertraut.

Monica Vögele studied art history and literature at the University of Zurich while also working in advertising and marketing for an international retail company. After leading the company’s advertising agency during 14 years, Monica Vögele turned back to culture. As President of the Foundation Board of the Charles and Agnes Vögele Foundation and Director of the Vögele Culture Center, she now works on socially relevant topics that are implemented in schools, institutions, and the public. Board mandates in both cultural and educational institutions encompass Monica Vögele’s commitment to a broadly accessible transfer of knowledge.
