Our values

Our main goal is to support as many education and training opportunities as possible. We consider a project a success if it is funded by EDUCA SWISS or if, thanks to our coaching, another funding source is found. Our coaching provides clarity about the educational project and the budget and serves as a supportive and encouraging measure.

In our coaching we attach great importance to 6 value principles. You can find them in detail in our downloadable values paper.

You can also read the summary here:

What we offer:

1. Time & Advice

  • Volunteer coaches invest their time.
  • Understanding the candidate’s concerns, goals and situation.
  • We use the Educaplan tool to bring clarity.
  • Our life experience, our expertise and our network.

2. Encouragement

  • We provide encouragement throughout the coaching process.
  • We work in a solution-oriented way, even with complex projects.
  • Openness and impartiality build trust.

3. Feasibility

  • The career goal is not questioned, but the educational path to get there is.
  • We accompany the project planning carefully and according to our guidelines.
  • Our processes and second opinions provide security and confidence.
  • When in doubt, we always try to provide opportunities.

4. Support

  • We are there for the people we support from the moment the loan is granted until the last instalment is paid.
  • In the event of repayment difficulties, we offer renewed coaching and help to find solutions.
  • Health and financial burdens are avoided.
  • Our principles ensure that no one goes bankrupt through no fault of their own as a result of our education loans.

What we expect:

5. Motivation & Perseverance

  • Motivation for the educational project and the professional goal is important to us.
  • Persistence and diligence in the process gives us confidence in the success of the project.
  • If we do not sense any “urgency” on the part of the candidate, we will not push.

6. Reliability

  • Candidates respond promptly to communications and meet deadlines.
  • We will be patient with delays, but will stop communication if there are repeated failures.
  • We expect respectful treatment of the coach and the team.
