After more than ten years of dedicated service, co-founder Monique Bär is stepping down from the Board of Trustees of EDUCA SWISS. At the same time, the foundation is delighted to welcome Georg Hartmann as a new member of the Board of Trustees.
Monique Bär co-founded EDUCA SWISS in 2015 and has shaped the foundation ever since with exceptional personal commitment, strong conviction and great dedication.
Throughout the foundation’s development phase, Monique Bär was far more than a member of the Board of Trustees. She actively helped shape the foundation’s development, provided decisive impetus and consistently placed its impact at the heart of its work. For her, equal opportunities in education were always more than a mission – they were a personal conviction.
“Monique Bär has played a decisive role in shaping EDUCA SWISS over the past ten years. Without her extraordinary commitment, the foundation would not be where it is today. We are deeply grateful to her for this,” says Marco Billeter, Managing Director and co-founder of EDUCA SWISS.
With Georg Hartmann, EDUCA SWISS gains a new member who ideally complements the Board of Trustees. The entrepreneur and consultant has many years of experience in business development, strategy, human resources development, finance and digitalisation. As former CEO and current Chairman of the Board of HRM Systems AG, as well as a Venture Partner at Antler, he combines entrepreneurial expertise with a strong understanding of sustainable organisational development.
Equal opportunities have been a focus of Georg Hartmann’s commitment for many years. As President of the Clara Mändle Foundation, he has been actively involved in supporting education in Switzerland for more than two decades. Through the longstanding partnership between the two foundations, he is already very familiar with EDUCA SWISS and its work.
“With Georg Hartmann, we are gaining not only an accomplished entrepreneur and strategist, but also someone who shares our values and has known and supported EDUCA SWISS for many years. We are very much looking forward to working with him,” says Marco Billeter.
With this new appointment, EDUCA SWISS continues its approach of strengthening the Board of Trustees with individuals who combine entrepreneurial thinking with social commitment and provide strategic guidance as the foundation continues to develop.
