EDUCA SWISS is the Swiss foundation for educational promotion and financing and closes gaps in educational funding. Each year, we support nearly 1,000 motivated individuals with coaching and educational loans on their path to graduation.
Our work is based on strong partnerships with foundations and private supporters. For the strategic maintenance and further development of these relationships as well as the acquisition of new partners, we are seeking a Head of Donor Acquisition and Support. In this role, you ensure professional planning of financial resources and are also responsible for the conceptual supervision and further development of our foundation’s own CRM system in collaboration with our software developers.
Your Responsibilities
Together with an experienced team member and supported by accounting and office management, you assume the following responsibilities:
- Maintenance and further development of our existing network of donors and supporters
- Acquisition of new donors as well as institutional lenders
- Supervision and further development of the foundation’s own CRM system
- Preparation of reports and information materials for donors and partners
- Internal financial planning and reporting
- Management and coordination of loan allocation
- Participation in process improvements and in the digitalisation of procedures
- Communication and collaboration with educational institutions
Your Profile
- Strong interpersonal skills, trustworthiness and experience in fundraising
- Experience with donor or lending foundations in Switzerland; an existing network is an advantage
- IT project experience and strong affinity for digital processes
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills as well as a confident personality
- Very good numerical understanding and strong analytical skills
- Very good English skills; French is an advantage
