EDUCA SWISS is the Swiss Foundation for Education Promotion and Financing. As a private initiative, we close gaps in direct educational funding. We support motivated individuals in achieving their educational goals through free coaching and educational loans.
For our team in Zurich, we are looking for a versatile, proactive, and engaging personality with experience in marketing/communications/sales/event management, starting immediately or by agreement. This is a temporary position (12 months) as maternity cover.
As an experienced communications professional, you will assume responsibility for all communication channels of the foundation in collaboration with the management team.
Your tasks:
- Communication & Marketing (online & offline): Organize and implement newsletters, website, (social) media, impact reports, presentations, etc.
- Project Management: Coordinate external service providers (digital marketing, graphic design, web design, translations, etc.).
- Sales/Networking: Build relationships with educational institutions, counseling centers, and other relevant stakeholders (increase visibility among target groups such as trainees/students, coaches, donors, etc.); represent the foundation at 3–4 education fairs together with a student assistant.
- Event Management: Our foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary. We plan to mark this occasion with several smaller events and one larger gathering to strengthen our community of supporters.
You ideally bring:
- A motivated, hands-on personality with an independent and goal-oriented work style.
- An inspiring and audience-appropriate communication and presentation style, paired with confident and professional demeanor.
- Excellent written and spoken German; fluent French is a strong asset, another national language an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and project management experience.
- Ideally, experience in digital marketing or graphic design, and proficiency with tools such as Mailchimp, WordPress, etc.
You use creative freedom efficiently, enjoy working independently, and thrive in a small but outstanding team. Our beautiful offices are located near Zurich Enge station and close to the lake. You will benefit from flexible working hours and home office options. Start date: June or by agreement.
